About
I am a visual artist based on Earth. My work moves between portraits, interiors, landscapes, and anything that strikes my fancy. Using symbolic imagery and color alongside the intentional distortion of scene, I aim to share a fractured, suggestive version of reality. I am drawn to patterns, atmosphere, structural relationships, and to the way an image can feel precise and familiar yet subtly off.
My background includes more than two decades in web design, and that experience still shapes the way I think about presentation and visual clarity. I also teach art and animation to people of all abilities, which continues to inform my interest in observation, communication, and the many ways there are of thinking and learning.
My current work reflects a long interest in images that feel both resolved and open-ended. Some pieces are direct and quiet. Others are more theatrical, stylized, and/or symbolic. Across them all, I’m interested in making work that ALMOST balances order, feeling, and visual surprise. Does that make sense?
